This package is complete with two search coils: In addition to the standard Garrett 8.5 x 11" DD search coil, this package comes complete with the Detech 8 x 6" SEF search coil. This coil will work with the AT Pro as well as the AT Max and AT Gold. This coil gives you the best depth, pinpoint accuracy and greater separation from the target allowing you to hear items that are close together.
Compared to traditional DD coils, the patented SEF coil technology provides you with more stable operation, better ground balance and more accurate target identification. It is worth noting that all Detech search coils are waterproof and include a coil cover.
