GPX 5000 device
The Minelab GPX 5000 is a raw gold detector with enhanced pulse induction technology (DVT) that delivers the best performance and maximum sensitivity to the smallest gold particles at greater depth in all natural terrains.
The GPX 5000 has been chosen as the best raw gold detector in the world due to its overwhelming success in Africa, the Middle East and Australia, where gold prospectors in these countries and regions have proven its effectiveness and accurate results.

The Minelab 5000 raw gold detector search technology includes pulse induction technology, which relies on a search disc containing electronic coils used to send electronic (electromagnetic) pulses towards the soil, and then with the rebound of these signals due to the presence of a buried target such as a small piece of gold, for example, the same coils receive the reflected signals and with the calculation of the difference between the signals, it is converted into a digital signal and after processing it in the device’s control unit, it is converted into an audio response in the form of a tone.
The pulse induction technology in the device has been enhanced with a new technology, Dual Voltage Technology, which enhances sensitivity to capture the smallest nuggets of raw gold at a relatively greater depth.
The device is also equipped with SETA smart electronic timing technology, which ensures the device's accuracy for each pulse timing option issued by the device. This improvement in calibration reduces sensitivity to certain types of interference, and greatly improves the metal detector's immunity to magnetic rocks and soil.
